Zimbabwe’s President Robert Mugabe has mocked America’s decision to legalise homosexual marriages across all 50 states of the U.S, reports Dailymail.
Speaking to Zimbabwe’s radio station in a weekly interview on Saturday, June 27, the leader infamous of taking counter-attacking decisions against the West, vowed to travel to the White House and ‘propose’ to President Barack Obama.

He further explained in black and white how he intends to do that; ‘get down on one knee and ask his hand’.
Mugabe who has been on the frontline in fight against homosexuality, was responding in a rather odd fashion to America’s Supreme Court historical ruling that the Fourteenth Amendment to USA’s Constitution mandates same rights to marriage among gay partners as heterosexuals.
“I have just concluded- since President Obama endorses the same-sex marriage, advocates homosexual people and enjoys an attractive countenance – thus if it becomes necessary, I shall travel to Washington DC, get down on my knee and ask his hand,” said Mugabe jokingly.
However, striking a more serious tone, the nonagenarian wondered why a country founded on Biblical teaching would go against its provisions, “I can’t understand how this people dare to defy Christ’s explicit orders as our Lord prohibited mankind from sodomy.”
The valiant leader went ahead to accuse the U.S government of being run by ‘corrupt political elite who insult the great American nation’.
His comments did not prevent Mozambique, Zimbabwe’s close neighbor, from decriminalizing homosexuality. Mozambique repealed Old Portuguese colonial laws that prohibited same sex marriages on Monday, June 29.
However, no official events or celebrations were scheduled to mark the occasion in the country that has witnessed minimal antigay violence. Most African countries though continue to outlaw same-sex marriages.
