Resident Magistrate Allan Sitati charged with having carnal knowledge of a hen
belonging to his family on June 19th this year at Motonyi village in Narok
North Sub-county. The court was told how his granddaughter came from home from
school and heard the croaking of a hen from inside the house and found her
grandpa red-handed in the act.
She raised the alarm and neighbours came and arrested the accused.
Gicheru has pleaded not guilty to
the charges. The magistrate has ordered that he be released on a bond of
Sh50,000 with one surety of a similar amount or a cash bail of Sh30, 000.
