Oh Obama:This is what happened to the man who called Obama a monkey

A mayor in the state of Washington, Airways Heights, is under fire for calling the US President Barack Obama a Monkey and his wife Michelle, a Gorilla face.

According to The Root, the mayor-Patrick Rushing took to his official facebook page and  posted that  `Gorilla face Michelle, can’t disagree with that. The woman is not attractive except to monkey man Barack. Check out them ears. LOL’
Area police boss Lee Bennett condemned the offensive comments as a step back in the wrong direction that is hard to come back from.

The city council immediately called for his resignation saying that the comments were unacceptable considering his stature.
Rushing has  however insisted that  he will not resign from his post as mayor of the city of 6500 people and instead said that the comments were just a playful back and forth banter that he does with his friends.
The white house has not commented on the issue
