Manchester United are expected to strengthen their squad at the end of the season to try and close the gap to Manchester City.
The Red Devils are also expected to put up a fight to keep some of their star players at Old Trafford.
Real Madrid have been heavily linked with a move for Paul Pogba, who is currently out-of-favour, in recent weeks.
But Mourinho is apparently keen to keep his £89million midfielder and will instead offer Rashford to the La Liga champions.
That is according to Spanish outlet Don Balon, who say the Portuguese boss is intent on signing Isco.
Michael Carrick is set to retire and Marouane Fellaini is out of contract so United are keen to bolster their midfield ranks.
And Isco is expected to leave the Bernabeu as he struggles to break into the starting XI.
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is said to be keeping tabs on the 25-year-old but Mourinho wants to pinch the playmaker from under his rival’s nose.
Don Balon claim that Rashford will be offered in a straight-swap deal to Real.
And the 20-year-old could move on to pastures new in search of regular football.
